Best Way to Start 2015
The New Year is right around the corner again, and that means it's time for a fresh start. People everywhere are already thinking about their New Year's resolutions. Unfortunately, it's all too easy to make resolutions that sound good now, but seem less appealing once the time comes to follow through with them. This is often because those goals are too lofty, tedious or incompatible with other aspects of life. Instead, focus on goals that are actually attainable and will enhance the overall quality of your life, not detract from it. Here are some great starters!
1. Surround Yourself with Positive Relationships
There's a lot to be said for avoiding people you don't get along with. Many people spend vast amounts of time and energy trying to please those who are impossible to make happy or who only bring pain and disappointment. You're better served by surrounding yourself with people who are supportive, caring and who actually appreciate you for who you are.
2. Resolve to Like Yourself More
One example of this is taking some downtime when stress is getting the better of you. Realizing that you're overburdened and being able to say "enough" is one of the best ways you can show yourself some love in the New Year. After all, nobody can perform well when they're stretched to their limits.
3. Improve Your Health
Although you can never completely prevent all health problems, small changes to your everyday lifestyle can significantly reduce the risk of many illnesses. Go for one relaxed walk each day when you have the time and energy. Consider adding less salt to your food to help prevent hypertension. These seem like little things, but they add up to huge benefits.
4. Have More Fun
This is quite possibly the best way to start 2015. Many people today live their lives under the constant burden of full schedules and too many responsibilities. The most common result is that, even if you have free time, having fun has become a distant memory. Instead, you're spending that time worrying about all the things you have to do tomorrow. When you have some free time available, use it to do something you enjoy, like watching your favorite movie or engaging in a hobby – maybe hitting the slots. 5. Be Kinder to the Environment

Try to recycle more often and employ reusable containers when possible. If you have a home garden, take up composting. You might also want to consider switching to cleaners and other products that contain fewer harmful chemical ingredients. This is good for both you and nature.
